Sage is an extremely aromatic herb with elongated egg-shaped leaves. Its leaves have a white felt and thin hairs on both sides. The taste of sage is an acquired one, but it is pleasantly bitter and spicy. It is often used in Italian cuisines and one of its most popular uses is to make sage butter. 


This herb is rich in Vitamins A, K and B6, calcium and magnesium.
